So I was browsing for some housing ideas. When I found this beauty:
Would you spend an entire holiday break here? Floating, glass, and all? I know I wouldn't, if I didn't die of fright I'd likely accidentally drop something and it'd end up shattering the entire thing, or any other horrifying scenario!

Yes please! I'd live in that thing! Although I totally understand why the idea seems so crazy for some. The fear of heights, and many other things are too much to handle for some. I'd personally love to put that thing as high as even the peak of the Empire State Building just so I can see how small things can appear from that height, in addition, a night city view from above would be beautiful with all the lights.

No doubt a beautiful view, seems to have solar panels rimming the top too so you'd definitely have power. But the mixture of glass + being high up would kill me definitely xD. Wonder if living in it for a few days would make you used to heights though? Maybe..

I'd like to live there for a few days/weeks, then I'd decide whether I'd stay on...

Oh yea, I saw these.
This is what people who go to mars will be living in, they're taking giant 3d printers and they're going to print these houses on mars.

I'd totally live in that! It looks cozy and there is enough space to feel free and you've got an amazing view over the landscape that couldn't be better.
Only two questions: how would you get water up there and how is this "apartment" floating in the air?

It looks like it would get kind of hot in there, plus I see no door / exit....so.... lol

idk but I need privacy ! especially working in a job where I have to deal with lots of people a holiday for me is being alone xD and not watched like I was in an aquarium! But that doesn't mean I don't like the design it's just nothing for me particularly

There's no privacy.

If the windows/glass dome had a mode to block out the outside or an extra layer on the outside that did the same thing, and air conditioning and heating, hek yeah

I'd spend Halloween break there.
Because my school doesn't give us one and we have to hope it's on a Friday-Sunday (we don't have school on Friday).

I think the crapper is the black area at the top.

Maybe, they also look like solar panels

How would you survive in the middle of nowhere? My friend has to drive 2 hours to buy groceries, and that's bad enough. I'd probably have to jump out and chew on some grass if I lived there lol.
Would be nice for a 3-5 day vacation, though. Just for the view. Then I'd get sick of it pretty fast.
Nevermind I just saw the road... still the nearest grocery store would probably be hella far lol
