Would you rather be a mutant or be a cyborg?

If it were up to me, I'd be a cyborg, because I like tech, and I wouldn't be shunned from society. What do you think?

Imagine waking up in an ice box with some of your graphic cards missing. Probably would be like loosing a kidney for a cyborg.

mutants are only shunned from society in marvel. IRL, a mutant is any organism with a genetic mutation of some kind. Since everyone has a few traits that make them unique in their family, we are all mutants in a sense. (but I don't want no robot parts so mutant it is.)

There's a difference between a "genetic mutation" and having different genes.

not really. all genes either are inherited from ancestors, or newly developed (mutated). if there is a third origin for genes, i haven't heard of it.

Cyborg sounds much cooler to me. But if I had to be one, I'd not like to be just a little bit cyborg but from heat to toe equipped with machinery that actually would enhance what I can do. Like running fast and for long, having a jaw so strong it can break bones and having so great physical strength that I could lift cars (might come in handy, you never know). And what's the most important: having some kind of armor protecting all that machinery from bullet fire or something similar. Cause what's the point of having all that tech when you can die as fast as a non-cyborg human. Being a human Terminator, that's the idea...
But you know, maybe an exosuit like Iron Man's could do the same and I wouldn't have to undergo the likely painful and rather permanent transformation from a human to a machine-human.
I didn't choose mutants because to me being mutant and thus possessing some superhuman abilities sounds too made up. The cyborg variant is far more likely to actually come true. Although, I must say I'd prefer the exosuit.

Depends on what you mean by mutant. Do you mean mutant as in x-men? Because you could have a power that isn't super noticeable and not get shunned by society.
Also, if you're a cyborg you can't really regenerate or heal. You'd have to pay money to fix broken parts. That would be expensive. Prosthetics really aren't cheap.
So I think I'll go with mutant.

Mutant, depending on the mutation. Being a cyborg would be nice, but I'd rather not catch a computer virus from looking at some weird stuff online. Imagine if that killed me.

Plus, there's nothing that says that the mutation is a drastic, appearance changing one. Could be something as simple as an extra heart, or being less likely to have cancer.

I think cyborg. But it's nice to just be a normal human being.

Mutant, because I'd rather lose my humanity to something natural than through man-made AI that can easily be hacked through. :P

I would want to be a mutant because if I was a cyborg someone could you a electromagnetic pulse (EMP) Device and kill me.

If you have "Be normal" choice I'll choose it because be normal is good enough for me but anyway I choose cyborg...
