Well, the bedrock edition beta nether update has come out, so if you wanna play in the nether update, go to the minecraft page in microsoft store or app store, which will take a few minutes, the click update (if u can't update don't worry) and then play minecraft.

All java updates have eventually come to MCPE. Eventually, it will come to MCPE.

There is no official release date as of right now, but it has been announced that it is coming to Bedrock edition in the first half of the year 2020.
