I started in Speedruns 6 days ago on Minecraft, but when I reach the End for the first time, I try to use the beds to explode on the Ender Dragon, but the beds are doing very little damage on the Ender Dragon, and when I see others speedrunners doing the same thing, they can deal 20% damage to the Ender Dragon with just one bed, while with me, only 5%, can someone explain it to me?

You need to time it so that the Dragon's head is above the bed when it explodes, as the head is the point where the Dragon takes the most damage.

Thanks, but I already learned how to do this for a video that was shown to me on Minecraft's Speedrun Discord Server. I can already defeat the dragon with 5 beds in 2% of attempts, and 6 or 7 beds in most attempts.

Yeah it’s all about how close you are to the head. I have a friend who practices 1 cycling and his best is 5 beds, but he usually gets 6-7. 4is possible, but it’s all about how close you are to the dragon’s head hit box.
