I can't tell if this is a joke post or not ( considering how bizzare this looks ), but i'll try helping.
Check your mod menu, see if you can find a mod named "dogs photos" ( i can see the mod name in the photo ), look for any info you can find on the mod.
I looked it up and couldn't find anything.
After a quick reverse image search, that type of dog appears to be called a wolf dog. (but that's kind of unimportant)
So, if you could please provide me with a list of mods, as seen from the in-game mod list, that'd be nice.

I'd need a mod list to understand what the issue is. I would also need a screenshot that hasn't been deleted. Supply me with these things, and I can look into it further. I would also suggest r/freethebeast.
Do you know what mods are being used? If not, can you ask your friend to send you a list of all the mods you have?

Knowing what mod the entity comes from can help figure out how to remove the entity in question- that or to see if another conflicting mod is causing it to be unkillable.
Or just keep on punching it because it has HP, if not regenerating it will slowly die, you can use F3 + G to see its hitbox and just keep on punching it.

hmm.. have you checked for the mod author ? mabye they added a description of how to remove that dog "like a specific item from the same mod"

do you have a mod called rei or jei ? if yes in searchbar of items in mods can you search "@dogs @photos" ? it will show items from that mod and there mabye are some tools to remove these photos

well if there is no other way you could also place a lava somewhere in his hitbox and just leave for some time it will die eventualy
When you are standing near it use command "kill @n[type=!player,distance=..3]" it will kill that entity but be carefull and move away any other entities because that command will kill one entity of any type besides player around you. So try to stand in the middle of that poor puppy and use that command

strange that the server crashed, mabye there are some bugs with that mod, but if it worked then im glad.
