How do you make it so you can only place buttons on certain blocks?

I wanna make a map but I want to have players in adventure mode be able to have people place buttons on certain wool colours? is it a command or a data pack? Can somebody explain how to do it? also im a (mostly) bedrock player so can you open chests in adventure/use levers/open wood doors :)))

This can be done using a command which sets the NBT tags on the item accordingly. For example (Thanks to StackExchange user Quentin) you can use the following command. Change it, as in the second command, to suit your needs.give Mumble_Bumble stone 1 {CanPlaceOn:["minecraft:grass","minecraft:dirt"]}

give Mumble_Bumble stone_button 1 {CanPlaceOn:["minecraft:red_wool"]}
