How To Get More People To Play?

I have a server, and I had it for 2 weeks, but I have been advertising on PMC, and other places. People do play, but they only get on for 2 minutes and leave. I have a good simple faction server. 2 Mini-games. Infection and Spleef. And everything is ready to go. The only thing that bugs me is that people just tends to leave. I really don't know why, but if you go to my server, can you tell me what is wrong? My Minecraft IGN is SleepingPotato. So Please tell me if there are some things that I need to work on. Thanks! Well people say that the spawn was the best spawn that they have ever seen. Not like really huge in size wise, but kinda cozy and have everything symmetrical. I guess the spawn is good for people who have OCD? Lol. But it's just that I need to get the word out to my server, that's all. So if you would like to join, please do so!

A spawn can be everything. If someone takes a look at it and it doesn't look very well done, they will leave. Try posting some of your servers features right in the spawn. Make it open and make your new members feel welcome.
