Is Universal Minecraft converter the only way to convert console worlds?

I'm trying to get my old Xbox 360 worlds onto java edition, I got the old Minecraft Map Converter for free but I don't think it has been updated to support TU74 (1.13) console worlds. Would Universal Minecraft Converter be the only way to convert my worlds to java?

I know a friend who used MCC Toolchest, but I do not so soz.

Use a usb memory stick and transfer your world onto it. I don't have a 360 anymore so I don't know exactly how to do that, but I think you can do it in the game. If not you can go on the home screen to settings and look under storage and transfer all the Minecraft data onto the usb. You could also find a way to plug your hardrive into your pc to use. It.would be useful to know which 360 model you have too

Just plug your USB in the front then. If you have an internal hard drive that you wanna get them out of you'll need an adapter

Probably. Its at least the most popular one. Because this doesnt affect your wallet or anything like that, I would go for universal 1st.

Oh yes, I did use mcc toolchest, it worked perfectly converting to bedrock, but java did not go so well

Exactly that's what I'm dealing with. I have DallasMed's LP World and want to convert it to Java but it always sends me an Error. I don't want to use UMC because it's expensive and spending 14 Dollars on the Internet doesn't seem save and I'm only gonna convert 1 world thus I think it's not worth the effort.

Maybe try converting the world to bedrock with MCC toolchest and then convert that world to java. Might be buggy though
