Java(TM) Platform SE binary is not responding
My problem is the following: whenever I start minecraft, my game freezes and then crashes after a few seconds/minutes. The error says: 'java(tm) platform SE binary not responding'. I've tried everything that I found on internet which is the following: redownloading java, updating graphics card driver (my graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (64-bit) and my graphics card driver is version 445.75), redownloading minecraft, moving minecraft to my other hard drive, using java.exe and javaw.exe as 'java executable', the trick in control panel where you end the task of 1 minecraft that pops up 'background processes. I really don't know what to do anymore and I'm getting very frustrated because I want to enjoy the game with my friends. If you have any suggestions what I could do, please let me know!

I'm assuming using the Vanilla launcher ?
If you are willing to try a different launcher, you could have a go with MultiMC which you can download from here :
https://multimc.org/
It's very easy to set up seperate instances and really good with modding. Install it, run it, right-click on the window, click 'Create Instance', choose version, give it a name, and you are away.
Of course, you will have to add a minecraft account to it to be able to play. (click 'Settings', then 'Account' in the left margin)

Ok, MultiMC sorts most problems, so we are posibly talking a program blocking java - maybe your Viruschecker ? In which case disable it for a couple of mins and give it a try.
The other option is to right-click MultiMC (or your other launcher) and choose 'run as administrator'.

I tried both but it doesn't work. This thing is driving me mad wow. (I accidentally closed it anyway, that's why I'm responding already)

Well, I did the 'run as administrator' thing (although I thought I did it before) and it works fine now. I don't want to double check it because then I have to close mc. I'm just gonna leave mc open for today, but I'll let you know tomorrow if this works. A huge thanks man!
