Launcher won't open
There might be other people who have asked and spoken about this before but I might as well ask anyway. Also sorry for any grammar mistakes.
Anyway, so I tried going to play MC earlier today and when I clicked on the launcher icon on my desktop that blue loading icon appeared next to my mouse and then just disappeared. I tried to open it some more, even moving the icon to my task bar and trying to open it from there but still nothing. So my first idea to try and fix it was to uninstall the launcher and re-download it but still nothing. I even tried going the the MC website to re-download the installer but again nothing.
Any help is greatly appreciated and is welcome. Please don't suggest stuff like re-downloading it, switching my PC off and on again cause I've tried that over and over again.
Please i just wanna get back to my little dogs and farms.😢

Try to rename your game folder. So open a file browser, then go to %appdta%, you should now see a folder called ".minecraft", try to rename that into something else and then try again.
Careful: this resets everything back to default so get ready to log on again. If this works you can then copy your data over from the old folder, the most important directories would be 'saves' and 'screenshots', optionally mods too if you use those.
