Map Making (Custom Fist Skin and mirrors)

Your probably wondering what I'm asking for.

Basically I've recently played a map called "Late"
You play as a man who is trapped in an office when he sleeps on his job (I wont go too much into the map)
Something that made the map immersive and different then most other maps.

These two things would be:
1. Your fist skin becomes different from your actual skin
2. Mirrors give a reflection of your character(not your skin, but the character you played as in the map)

I have no clue how both of these were done, and want to figure out how so I can implement these into a map I'm making. I made this PMC account to see if anyone here knew how or could figure out how.

1. It's resourcepack - item you're holding is shaped and positioned to look like your fist, but with different skin
2. Behind the mirror is next room with animated statue made using a resourcepack too.

I know about the resource pack, but I mean how exactly is it done?

I understand what you mean about the fist, that makes sense, but how is the statue animated to move with your head and follow you?
