I used MultiMC as my launcher, which you can find here : https://multimc.org/ with the latest Forge version and you also need liteloader for Voxelmap.
Your issue above seems to indicate that optifine is the problem. There are 2 ways to install optifine,
1 is to double-click the file and follow the install instructions
2 is to just drop the optifine jar file into the mods folder - This is what I did.
You could try disabling optifine on your build to see if the problem goes away, however, I had no problems with crashing whilst using it.
I encountered a crash if I left the 'Damage Indicators' mod active - when disabled, the pack loaded fine. If you have the same issue, you could try this mod as an alternative :

I have tried this mod with your pack and had no issues.
The only other issue I had is one that I always find when using Mo Creatures - invisible creatures, all you can see is shadows on the floor but no creatures.
To fix this, close you client and rename the Mo Creatures mod jar file from 'DrZharks+MoCreatures+Mod-12.0.5.jar' to 'MoCreatures.jar'
I have no idea why this works, it just does. so give it a try.

The only other issue I had is one that I always find when using Mo Creatures - invisible creatures, all you can see is shadows on the floor but no creatures.
To fix this, close you client and rename the Mo Creatures mod jar file from 'DrZharks+MoCreatures+Mod-12.0.5.jar' to 'MoCreatures.jar'
I have no idea why this works, it just does. so give it a try.
