My minecraft 1.18 is not opening
I open minecraft normally and I get an error message that says Gflw error 65542: WGL: The driver does not appear to support OpenGL

Pretty much the only thing you can do is get a new GPU.
Installing the latest GPU drivers may work, but the only solution is usually the former, especially if your GPU is mega old

From looking at the logs it seems like your pc doesn’t support opengl 3.2 you can try to download it but it probably won’t work
sorry for the late reply

Do the other versions work?
And if yes, did you try to clean the .minecraft folder and then reopen the launcher
I just suggest, IDK how to fix the opengl error

Older versions would still work as they use an older version of OpenGL.
This is can be compared to the Java upgrade from 8 -> 15 that Minecraft had recently, and how some people (not many though as Java itself can still run fine on most potatoes) couldn't play the new versions as they couldn't update Java

eh, probably not, I'm not really active (only once a day usually).
And this is just random general information developers might come about, so some others lurking about in this community would know about this as well
