Im working on a minigame where one of the attack options is to place a tnt block and I need to make it so when you place it it explodes or something like that but the only tutorial I could find is from 5 years ago and doesnt work
If anyone has any commands or 1.16.1 Bukkit plugins that could help it would be much appreciated

Basically, you need to use a scoreboard to detect when a player places one, and then raycast in the direction they are looking to find the coordinates of the TNT, delete it, and spawn the entity. It is quite easy to set up.
