Hello,


This is my first thread on any Minecraft forums. I wanted to talk about something weird and eerie that happened to me in Minecraft yesterday. So when 1.16 came out on Minecraft, I created a survival world with no cheats and I have been playing on that world ever since. I have a pretty established base. I went exploring near some mountains far away from my base. It was day time and I saw a 2x1 tunnel, at first I didn't think much because I didn't know about Herobrine at the time or any Minecraft creepypasta. I just thought I should go mining and started to walk towards the tunnel. As I got closer I saw some light coming out of the tunnel and I think it was a Redstone torch and after that my game crashed. I couldn't make it to the tunnel. I didn't think much of it and I started playing some other game. 2 hours later I log back into the world and I spawn in my base. This was weird because I remember saving and quitting the world while I was exploring the world. I then noticed a Redstone torch in my inventory and that was when I got very suspicious. I am very bad at Redstone and I don't even attempt to make something out of Redstone and I am sure I never made a Redstone torch in this Minecraft world. I once again thought it's just a glitch. I tried to find the 2x1 tunnel but couldn't find the place where the tunnel was since It was far away from my base. I gave up and went into the ocean looking for an ocean monument. On my journey, I noticed a weird sandstone pyramid in the middle of the ocean. I thought it was a desert temple glitch and thought it was funny. I dug all the sandstone and there was a sign in the middle which said "HJALP" I got creeped out and I closed the game. I returned back to the world after 30 mins and I spawned where I left but the sign was missing and I didn't break the sign. I thought I should just forget about what happened and go back to playing the game normally. I returned to my base and started working on normal stuff. It was night time and I went to my bedroom which I haven't been to since I came back from the ocean trip. I went to my bedroom to sleep and skip to daytime but right next to my bed was a sign which said "HJALP" I really freaked out and tried to run away but my Minecraft just froze for a solid 10 mins. I don't know what HJALP means. When my Minecraft unfroze I was in my cow farm, it was still night time and creepily enough there were no cows in my cow farm. It was empty and there was no sight of any mobs near me. I went to my bedroom again and the sign was missing. I looked out my bedroom window and saw a horse running at full speed away from my house as if somebody was riding it but I couldn't see anyone riding it or a saddle on the horse. I thought a change of base would be a good plan so I did that. I made a cave house to stay in for a while. I was transporting my important items from my main base to the cave house and then I noticed it, my cave house had a 2x1 tunnel and it had Redstone torches inside. I once again freaked out and left my house just to realize that the tress around my cave house had no leaves. This was all too much for me and I got really scared. I close the game and didn't open it up for the rest of the day. Today I wanted to play again, I made a fresh world and started playing. Everything was going normally but when I returned to my base after looting a village I saw a sign inside my base which read "HJALP" I closed the game and decided to research about what happened. That's when I got to know about Herobrine. what I experienced was similar to Herobrine showing up in the worlds. I did not see Herobrine or any unusual entity in my world so this could all just be a glitch.


I just want to know if something like this has happened to anyone else please let me know. Also is there a way to fix it? What does HJALP mean?
