I have played in my singleplayer world for quite a while and I've never bothered of changing the default skin. Now that I've made my own skin and uploaded it to minecraft.net, I am unable to see my own skin in-game after several attempts of restarting and reinstalling the game. My friend suggested me to try to log in to a server to sort of "force authenticate"(?) with mojang servers. And now, I realized that I am unable to see any skins at all.
I have read several other forums and threads about "unblocking the minecraft skins server" but none of them seem to have explained how it's done. How would I do this? Are there any other solutions to this problem?
Here's some extra information that could possibly help with pinpointing the problem:
- I am able to see my own skin through https://textures.minecraft.net
- I am unable to see my own skin through https://skins.minecraft.net
- My skin has already updated in websites like https://namemc.com

But is your skin visible in single player?
Or at least try to change your skin to a ready made, to check if the bug appears by it too
