I use a very slow laptop and I've found that it's quite out of date, so I'm looking for a good gaming laptop. If anyone could help me that'd be great. Here's what I'm looking for

- Quiet Fan
- Under $1,000
-1TB Hard Drive
- 8GB+ Memory
- Lightweight
- Screen size 16"
- (Optional) Windows 8.0 or 8.1 NOT installed. If it has this I will not mind.
- NO touchscreen

Thanks for all your help! I'm currently looking at http://tinyurl.com/p4q6myz but it's a bit out of my price range.

he did say his budget was under 1,000, and both of those are above it. adding to that macs aren't even meant for gaming. but yes, as someone linked probably an asus.

Not gonna make you build a desktop because I understand how laptops are portable and slim and just convenient for some people. (Suggestion will be right where this is when I find a good one)

This is the computer I use, my average is about 70-200+ with my Minecraft Settings tweaked a bit.

Are you looking for a laptop or a desktop? The title says desktop, but the OP says laptop.

Either way, you'd be far better off getting a desktop. It'll cost less and perform better, plus you can build one that will fit in your backpack.

And, Let's not even talk about my computer building skills.

Okay, first thing is first. Don't ever buy the Razer Blade. It doesn't even have a 1TB storage and it's 2k. The ASUS has 1TB and a 256GB SSD. Also the Graphics Card is better in the ASUS.
