Hey.

I've been just using books in the enchanting table and well, since it's random, I've been getting, not surprisingly, a ton of crappy books or books I'm not interested in (to the point I'm beginning to wonder what should I do with those books that are taking too much storage).

Especifically, out of the enchantments most guides recommend (efficiency, unbreaking, etc.), I'm particularly interested in mending. There's a librarian in a nearby town, but again, if I need to spend emeralds every time I need him to reset his crappy offers I don't know how many tons of paper I'm gonna have to sell him. Destroying his lectern and placing it again doesn't reset them btw.

So is this really THAT much of a grind? You'll need not one but quite several copies of some of these books so... it sounds a bit annoying.

I've heard about this villager kidnapping think too.

Anybody can give me some advice?
