Hey all,
This site needs a page where the XP quantities are listed. There's a lot of misinformation regarding this topic. I'm sure that some staff can find out the exact numbers, so I think it would be beneficial if it were written somewhere.
I believe theses are all of the types of ways to earn XP. Also, I'm not entirely sure that comments or discussion posts even earn XP or not. I just feel like it'd be nice to have some official information on this topic. To my knowledge there aren't any official XP numbers, but if there are, please leave a link. Please leave an Emerald so that this thread can gain some traction, as there will be a greater chance of this being implemented.

Emeralds I thought we’re four xp, which is why a discussion post is (you automatically emerald your own post). I also thought favorites were 5 xp. Downloads and comments are one (I’m almost positive about that).

Also banners don’t give xp. Not sure if collections do either. I would like clarification on if they do.

I did a test a while back, I favorited and removed my submissions to see how much it gave me, it was 2XP.

Giving users clear information is a good idea.
(It may be argued that this makes the system 'gameable', this is already true as a general idea of the relevant amounts is disecrnable from experimentation. Additionally, the only objective benefit [AFAIK] of inflating one's level/points is gaining the ability to use pay-4-click hosts [@lvl20???] – hardly a large inducement. [A subjective effect on reputation may also be involved, but – as this is unlikely to survive any actual review of content by a person inflating Xp – is discounted.])

Is this a benefit of having a higher level? (I seem to get 3 per discussion post.)
This one, for instance, bumped me by 3.
