Video Thumbnail is Missing from Images Gallery
I recently added a YouTube video preview for one of my addons, but its thumbnail won't load for the project's Images gallery. Instead, it shows the gray "video unavailable" background, even though the video works and will play if you click on it. This is only happening on one page; other projects I have display the correct thumbnails along with the other images.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact I added the video link before it was published? I tried deleting and re-adding the link later, but that did not fix it.
Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution?

We've had the same issue. I've submitted a bug report ticket and apparently it happens to videos that were premiered, and that it fixed itself with time. It has now been 14 months since the video was premiered and we still have that problem.
So I haven't got a solution but at-least be assured that you do not stand alone xD

Yes, the video doesn't have a thumbnail, but I can watch it just fine. And I know you put it in the right spot, otherwise, the page wouldn't say it has a video.
I think this is a problem on the video's end. You can try checking the thumbnail, video accessibility, and other things.

I just tried substituting a different video in the same box, and as soon as I did its thumbnail stopped working too. So, I put the original one back. When you load/reload the page, the correct thumbnail (that I would see when viewing the same video on YouTube) briefly flashes on the screen, but then it disappears. It seems like that specific project page might be corrupted.
Wait, did you set a specific thumbnail for the video? It looks like you didn't. Maybe that's what's going on.
Did you make sure to include just the video code in the submission? You don't need the full url. You probably did, but I want to run through all the options.
Otherwise, I think the last thing you can try is opening a ticket about this. If this is a glitch of sorts, or something only the developers can fix, they should know about it.

I put the full minified URL you get by clicking the Copy icon next to the video link in the picture I linked above. When editing the project page on PMC, I noticed it had simplified it to just the code. So, I doubt that's the issue.
The only thing I recall doing differently for this project than the others was adding the video link before it was published. Next time, I'll wait until the video is out before linking it here, and see if its thumbnail works. If not, there's a real problem and I'll open a ticket - if it does, then the issue was just that I was impatient XD
