The number 2 is the data, and it makes you get Jungle leaves.

So basicly /give (player name) (item ID) (amount) (data for the item if there's more than one type.)

I'm not sure if this works for dyed leather armor, I haven't tested it.

EDIT: I tested it, and it gave me leather armor with a health bar and wasn't dyed.....
