So basically my minecraft randomly freezes like every 7-10 seconds, even on servers and multiplayer. I'm pretty sure it isn't lag because my game freezes and i'm frozen, but people can still hit me. A scenario is like this, I'm fighting in pvp, my screen freezes, and i'm sent to spawn and it says I was killed!
I run the updated version of java
and I forced vsync
and my render distance is normal.

Make sure you have the latest update of Windows that your using. This is an issue in the game where it saves every couple of seconds. If you have it then go turn off "Threaded Optimization" in the "Manage 3D Settings" section of the Nvidia control panel. That usually does the trick.

Also you may want to check for background tasks that could slow down java and your computer.

might be GC... replace any similar java arguments (remove the number and M if theres any the same replace them with it) with "-Xmx2048M -Xmn512M" aka you allocate at most 2gb ram and atleast 0.5gb ram... i have it set as 3gb (3072M) as i have 8gb (its overkill btw since its for vanilla lol) my arguments for these are "-Xmx3072M -Xms3072M -Xmn512M" btw the xms is how much is allocated at the start which apperently should make GC not happen for longer and the freezing id assume is it raising the xms itself or something... this should help if you have 8gb... if you have 4gb ram use 1024M on xmx and xms and xmn can stay 512M
also whether needed or not imo you should get optifine
hopefully this helps
