Controls are really clunky, it's got 1/10th the features, the only semi-fun bit about it is creative-mode, I regret buying it :/

I bought it a year ago, and now I realize that it's stupid. The updates take way too long, it's full of random bugs, no customization (or at least legitimately) and played mostly by kids who use iPods/iPhones for everything other than music or phone calls.

Pocket Edition on an iPad/Tablet is ironic because you can't actually fit one into your pocket.

If I get an NVIDIA Shield, one of the first games I'll be getting on it will be Minecraft: PE.

It's really cool to play, but it doesn't have everything PC has quite yet. It does have a few other things PC never had like the Stone Cutter. If you just give time between updates of PE, it will start getting more and more worth it. I have bought PE and I love it.

Well, of course the game is best played on PC! But a phone has way more restrictions than a computer, so there's obviously going to be some differences! Suck it up! MCPE is a good game for what it is, and it is worth buying. Why people expect it to be an EXACT port for the computer game at a third of the price, I don't know, but it's not going to be. I'd say yea, buy it.

I got PE and barely played it. It needs more spazz, and MULTIPLAYER. Multiplayer is probably a main reason, the community is why I joined and still play Minecraft.

If you don't want to get that, look into SurvivalCraft, basically just Minecraft, but way better and more optimized for the iOS/Android.

I really don't understand why there are so many haters of PE on here, the reasons you have for not buying it could be easily attributed to the PC version when it first came out. It'll take a few years before mobile processors catch up to the power of their desktop counterparts and efficiency matters in mobile so this growth will be slower.

I personally think the PE is okay for now, and it'll be twice as good in a month when they get it to 0.8.

In 0.9 you'll get every other core feature of the PC edition, maybe minus redstone, so stop complaining and get some patience.

This is a BAD idea. Not only does it give you viruses, not benefit mojang, etc. but you'll never get updates and you can't download it to any device from the Play Store.

If you actually care about minecraft then buy the legit pocket edition on the play store.

I use it as a test platform where I build random concepts for builds. It is a bit clunky but it's still fun to play.

Only get it if you can't get it on any other platforms. Or if you go to the toilet a lot and you don't like other mobile games during the sit.

I bought it for adnroid on a nexus 4, gameplay is eh. But its still beta so you can't do much about it. Like PC version went from nothing to so much. I think pe will do the same.

Personally, I regret it. The world is tiny, the controls are limited, but even though it may grow, it may soon need a lot of memory. I rarely play it now. If you don't have PC, go for it! It's good for starters

Yes, it's definitely worth it.

If you own an Android device it's even more worth it because you can get PE snapshots and get updates faster than iOS can. And I'd predict in 6 months it'll be fairly close to the PC version.

In december 0.8.0 will arrive with PC graphics, mine carts and tracks, carpets, and other goodies!

my personal is yes, because even if at the moment it is not so good, i think it will get better like the pc version did, but enough me! lets hear from you guys! (bump)
