Help With a Custom Recipe

I am making a datapack where crossbows are replaced with a "magic sword" and I was wondering how to make it so when you make the recipe you get a knowledge book that gets taken away from you and you are given the crossbow.

Make A custom item with the knowledge book texture now make it so it clears the book (make it execute /clear @s idname:whatever) and also make it execute /give @s example:thing

I searched this a lot in google and for some reason theres nearly no information for custom nbt crafting with knowledge books.
I suggest you ask the r/MinecraftCommands discord as they have a lot more people who know these sorts of stuff
