How do i make a custom potion recipe?

i wanted to make a custom potion and a way to craft it.
i've gotten the potion made for /give commands as a start, but i cannot find anything anywhere on how to make it craftable.
i'd like to use the crafting table to mix a water bottle with said ingrediants.
how do i get that to work?
i wanted to use a mushroom and water to get mushroom wine.

i KNOW i need to make it a datapack. thats why i posted it into the datapack forum part.

Unfortunately directly making nbt items through crafting is still impossible using the crafting GUI (to my knowledge).
However you can make a workaround using a knowledge book and an advancement to give the crafter the custom potion.

Maybe you should read my tutorial. When you have the file (JSON) in zip, you should edit it (OPEN THE JSON) and then replace a random item you chose as result with minecraft:Potion_Name (Hover over the potion in your inventory and there will stand something like minecraft:potion)
Then replace the random item you had as output with minecraft:qtwspotion
If you don' t understand: i can make the datapack for you.
