Ello, so I switched from mainly playing bedrock to playing java a couple days ago, and in my survival world, I keep finding multiple areas in my caves that have several diamond veins. This never happened to me in bedrock, so is this just luck, or are diamonds just much more plentiful in java edition?

The rarity of diamond ore does vary somewhat between numbered versions, so it is possible you may have been playing br with a low frequncy version and java with a high frequency version.
(As of ~1.16, diamond ore was supposed to generate at the same rates in both br & java, but there have been some 'issues' from time to time.)

Youre very lucky i never get any diamonds unless i steal them from my friends lol
