Your CPU was under high load. It does that on my craptop sometimes. I recommend only running minecraft when generating a new world.

the world has to be loaded in 1.6.4 before 1.7 to fix these if you didnt

if you look, the chunk cuts off the other one...
did you delete a world and then name a world the same name? or did you run the world without going into 1.6.4?
