Bringing Back Legacy Console Minigames - Who’s Interested?question_answer

Hey everyone!
I’m working on a project called Legacy Battles, aiming to revive the classic console minigames from the old Legacy Console Editions.
What’s the Goal?
✅ No mods, no texture packs required
✅ Recreate the original Battle Mode experience while keeping the authentic feel.
✅ Putting all that into a datapack so you can just drag it into your server and start playing.
I’d love to hear from and anyone who’d like to be involved!
- Would you play a datapack version of Legacy Battle Mode?
- What features do you want to see (original maps, custom maps, extra settings)?
- Would you be interested in testing or helping out with development?
I know there is/was another attempt at reviving this gamemode, but it seems to be inactive or abandoned, servers are closed for months now and there were no plans in actually making it portable on every server, so I'm trying to bring it back myself

i remember playing on one of those servers that attempted to bring back the battle minigame, and it was some of the most fun i’d had since playing the games themselves on legacy edition, but seeing it shut down was honestly devastating; if you can get the publicity for this project, i’d see it being a massive hit and bringing back so much joy from so many childhoods.
if you do go through with this, i wish you as much good luck as humanly possible o7
for some of the features as well, using some of the texture packs from the maps like shrink (or whatever it was called. that bedroom map lol), would be lit ;D
