Bukkit, Spigot, Cauldron going down? End of plugins?

Well i've recently acquired this information:

According to this topic, all build offs of minecraft are in conflict with the DCMA. Therefore mojang is taking those down. I really suggest you take a look at the post.
What do you think about it? and do you like the idea of their alternitive?
I personally think I'm gonna quit hosting minecraft servers if this does happen.
With MCPC+ Already been taken down I'm lucky to still have the jars. A lot of others don't! Well i think minecraft is going down the drain if this actually gets confirmed.

Spongepowered is the new thing. It's being made by most of the major people in the community, including Spigot, Bukkit, Forge, Cauldron, Spout, etc.

They probably are. But they've been "working" on that for the past few years and will atleast take a few more for them to finish...
