Command block or command to remove large sections with one click? (realms)

Basically, I have a realms server with a bunch of friends and we're building a town on one of the saves.
So, I decided it would be great to build it close to a mountain, this means there's ALOT of clearing away to do.
So, since mods are out ofthe way, is there a command I can use or something that can help me clear away all these rocks?

try using /fill X Y Z X Y Z minecraft:air
