Hey,

So I was just wondering how I can upload my server to other advertising websites without the port showing? On here it says as play.synccraft.co.uk, but on others I am required to input a port. On those same websites, though, there are plenty of servers with just the text, no port.

Is there some trick I'm missing or...?

Thanks.

Then what is your server port?

My server port is not 25565. Server lists accept it, it just shows up after my ip. It's annoying.

well that's not true. That's the default port, they can be changed as required. Shared hosting environments do such thing.

not exactly.

25565 is just the default port for every minecraft server.
you do however have the option to change that port into whatever you wish to.

That's just the default port. I'm pretty sure you can change it.

You use 25565, the default server port.

Tried leaving the port blank, yeah. Putting the port in just normally adds my port to the end of it.

Have you tried leaving the port area blank? If so, try putting the port in anyways and maby the website will detect that the server address is letters and not numbers.
