Here's an infographic about dark occult symbolism in Minecraft, which started being introduced in 1.16. It involves themes such as Moloch, Legion, lilin, adamant, Saturn, satanic themes, and others.

Kek , quite enjoy seeing stuff like this & seeing the effort to try to piece the pieces together. Forces you to see a bit deeper.

- Granted some stuff are just for the game of it & nothing else. MC lore is great tbh

- As long this doesn't derail to the classic 80-90's drama; then we are bing chilling. A little bit of mysticism & fantasy is great for imagination. It's how our ancestors were able to sit around the fire together talking stories of great feats of monsters & the stuff that goes bunk in the night, the soul, etc.

Very healthy & needed especially as we gradually stray away from the familiar bonds in close proximity of the old for more screen based interactions.

Besides that pretty neat post Hunt

Exactly. Some occultists link them together, similarly to how Satan is associated with Pan, Lucifer, Beelzebub, Baphomet, and other figures, depending on the person's religious or occult beliefs. Because there are other satanic themes (for example, Jack Black's character portraying Satan in the movie Dear Santa, which came out in-between the trailer for the Minecraft movie and its premiere, in which he befriends a similarly-aged kid, making a deal with him for his soul), that is one possible interpretation of the Saturnic symbolism. Another is that players are sacrificing their time to the game rather than the real world, and Saturn is the god of time. In the context of children playing the game, the Moloch symbolism is also relevant, since Moloch is child sacrifice or the god of child sacrifice, depending on the source. Perhaps I should edit the infographic's subtitle to mention that Saturn is the god of time, the harvest, and death.

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Shades of D&D is satanism…
Hopefully this was either produced as a joke (woulda been a screamer [in the good way] on nn0401), or will be met with vicious mockery and slink back into the pit from which it crawled.
