Now I can make some nice clothes with lhether armor and new dog colors I'll be able to make the best PVP team.
Mob heads well let me have a lot of fun in creative.
The new food will let my old punkim growing worlds and villages world will be a great farm land world.

I believe that they should addd a whole economy with things, where buildings will spawn w/ the seed and not just ordinary buildings, but like skyscrapers

Since 1.3, my game had been very laggy, but with 1.4.5, it's running smoother than ever. Also, I really like how the arrows stick to you when you get shot.

Actually arrows did that before but it stopped for some reason then the arrow-sticking thing came back.

It used to do that for a short time. Now, it has been implemented because they have fixed all of the bugs that the older versions have brought forth.

The mobs:
Bats- Love them. These may be my favourite addition in this update so far. They enhance cave exploring.
Witches- I have yet to encounter one naturally but from what I've see in creative, they seem pretty lame.

Who knows how to set a command block to spawn a mob with another players head on and armor on because I want to set a comand block to spawn a zombie pigman with herobrines head on and diamond armor so I have a herobrine fight

I also hate all the new crap, they are ruining the frikin game. Update update update crash crash crash my server was finally super stable again and now they ruined it AGAIN... if you update at least update at the same time as the bukkit team and wait till they have a fully tested version available before you update your stupid game,, and indeed i hate all the new stuff, wither, wich ruined huge parts of our server blegh

The Mojang Team has fixed all the block glitches and will be releasing it in the 1.4.3 Update that will come out soon.

The thing I don't like about 1.3.2 and 1.4.2 is that it is very buggy, however having played since 1.7, I prefer having bugs that make the game harder, NOT games that make the game frustrating. For example, 1.3.2 introduced/expanded the glitchy blocks bug, where you place/remove a block and it pops back up or disappears, just to reappear/disappear in 3 seconds. Jeb should slow down. I love what he's adding to the game, but the updates need to be more focused of fixing the bugs and holes, not adding things we don't need like witches, bats, etc.

im so sick of people sayin jeb is "ruining" minecraft no he is not im sorry if you have a thing for old school minecraft but you don't have to use any of the new features... did you think of that??????? jeb has made minecraft a lot more exciting and if you say he is making it more realistic then your wrong witches and potions are not realistic.

Exactly. ^ Think about how many bugs were in 1.7. You couldn't stack porkchops, one of the very few methods of recovery. There was no End, no goal, no enchantments, no way to increase your strength except through mining, which gets old. You can still build and do practically everything you could do back then. If you don't like hunger, play on Peaceful. That's why they made creative mode. So that 1.7 lovers could build to their heart's content.

My opinion is that, although many say that Jeb is "ruining minecraft," I think he's actually fairly benign. Ocelots may not have been exactly fitting for minecraft, but they most certainly didn't ruin it. I backed up my 1.8 minecraft.jar the minute I heard about the hunger bar (that was back before watermelons,) but I now really enjoy it as a game mechanic.
I think of it more as if an annoying little sibling/cousin/relative keeps modding your Minecraft without your permission, but none of the mods are particularly annoying, so you just go ahead and let him at it.
Witches and Bats may have been a little much to absorb into Vanilla Minecraft, but they don't seem like they'll break the game or anything.

I agree. The bats don't drop anything, but they are a good base for modders to make flying mobs on. The witch, totally useless. The wither, cool! Now if I only could get my hands on that modding API...

I don't know about anyone else but... I'm a big fan of the Invisibility Potions.. Especially for PvP/Faction Battles servers.

Finally being able to repair items. After all this time in Tekkit, I can finally do it in real minecraft. And being able to rename my sword to giant pointy thing on a stick? Priceless.

actually, I love all the new features of 1.4. The item frames, the cobblestone walls, the wood buttons, pumpkin pie, zombie infestation of the villagers, and all the other features. I mean, yeah, they could slow it down a bit on tryin' to make Minecraft realistic, but I just love being able to build!!

when you log in click options then force update and walla login and enjoy your fresh jar

Are you sure it was a 1.4.2 jar? Also to fix just do force update under launcher options.

The whole sound update is something I've been looking forward to cause most people use headphones, and hearing all the old beta sounds.. gets quite old and irritating, atleast these ones remind of the actual sounds that you would be experiencing to hear in real life and that you would be willing to hear such a big change in the game. :D

Also, alot of servers now has a really irritating nerve wrecking plugin, which i think is more of a anti-cheat..
But it doesn't allow you to bunnyhop while sprinting, or bunnyhop at all..
Makes me Raig :l
