Hey y'all....

Adventure maps are fun, lets get that out of the way. It allows, essentially a game to be played within a game.

However, some maps, as we all know, come with mods as a 'dependency'. Some maps make use of vanilla features to make the adventure happen.

So then, a question! Do you prefer adventure maps that use or are dependent on mods, or do you prefer vanilla adventure maps?

I prefer the vanilla ones since they're so easy to install and they don't come with much of a learning curve generally. What I love is seeing creators make something unique and challenging with just the means that vanilla Minecraft provides. \o/

I honestly have no idea why people prefer vanilla adventure maps over mods.
Mods can let you do so much more, they can greatly enhance an adventure.

Until I have done everything I can possibly do in vanilla... Im not really interested in mods.
Plugins, however... that's different.

I love both, but something about adventure maps with mods makes the experience much more interesting and fun (like the More Player Models mod).

I don't like the inconvenience. Plus there are crashes, glitches, and lag. Vanilla maps are much easier, however. It's just going to my minecraft folder, then to my saves, then I drag the map in there, and then I play the map.

Vanilla doesn't lag so much, but I am lagging only with 120+ mods.

I prefer everything in vanilla as I've never tried mods, but I'm always up for testing a modded one!

Deftly prefer vanilla because then I can just slap the world into a Realm and instantly play it with my friends, without the problem of having to all have the same mods and packs etc. etc.
