I was better at creative mode (Not exactly a talent) but I found 5 diamonds and I was like "Enchanting table time!"

I wouldn't know how it feels. *sigh*

I was running through the house like a little kid on Christmas.

I just get a little jump every time I find some.. Mainly because I am so bored of mining...

My feeling was: "Cool! a diamond!" but since diamond is so rare I think: "Great, a diamond! Now, where's all those iron ingots for my excuse to make the oven HOT and burn that coal so my butt hasn't got that black stuff stuck up it?

When I was new to Minecraft, I was too much of a wimp to play survival, so I just sort of flew around in creative mode exploring and building crappy things and such.
So when I finally found diamonds, I freaked out momentarily like "DIAMONDS!! SO RARE WOW" then broke the ore with my creative mode powers and cheated in 64.
I'm pretty sure that's how it went.

I was mining and I found diamonds, and I was happy. Then I was stupid and kept mining for another hour and fell into a lava pit.

Lol, I remember my first diamond. It took so long to find it, but when I did, I was so excited! I remember there were 3 diamonds, on my 3rd one I mined there was lava behind it and the pit I was filled with lava and I died >.< But it still was so cool

I saw my first diamonds and ran to it! Then I mined them up, and fell down in the lava while standing on an ore...

I was so sad

I was like:

I was like OMIGOD!!! DIMINZ!!!
Then I realised my best pick was stone so I had to find some iron and coal and then make a furnace and smelt it AND make a pick... Fortunately when I got back the diamond was still there

Well when I found my first diamond I was 10.. So I was like 'MUM I FOUND RAREST THING IN THIS GAME! THERES 6 OF THEM!!" xD

At first, I didn't know what the heck to do with it. I went mining, and after running out of space, I ditched the diamonds (7 of them >.<) for COBBLE. YEAH. FREAKING COBBLE.

I felt better than Paul Revere with texting.

I was like:

sadness cus i forgot to use a iron pick... instead i used my fist

I cried.

I wish I remembered my first diamond mined... I bet I got really happy and ran to show my sister

I understand the whole wrong pick thing... But wouldn't it be hard to mistake diamond for coal? And at diamond level, chances are, you already came across coal? ,_,

Then I got back home before something could happen to me.

Started a survival world. Found diamonds. Happiness. Built a nice house and diamond tools/armor. Then I died. Ragequit.

I was on my friend's server and when I found it I was like :O DIAMONDS!
I looked it up on the wiki before and misread you could mine it with a stone pick... wasted like 2 diamonds before he told me I needed an iron pick and not stone...

I've noticed a lot of people are saying how they found it and lost it, not many have said that they've not died when they have it.

It was wen i was playing on i think Minecraft 1.8.1 Beta. Wen i joined a server from a friend (was my first time on a server ever!) And i was scared of everything :p but honestly they were walking around in legit diamond armor and i was like o_O i thought diamonds were rare. And then i went in there cave mined for about 20 minutes and there it was! My first DIAMOND ;3 damn i was in heaven

I also did die, I think I was able to get diamonds back though, was close to the spawn.
After that, I also swore not to go back down a mine, didn't know of herobrine at that time so that wasn't the reason for not wanting to go back down.

4th diamond: This one were mined and saved! So I got really happy, though going around with flint and steel ain't the best reaction of happiness, especially not when you're close to the house you built for 3 hours, 5 mins and 32 secons.

Man that's so unlucky, and a very bad way to celebrate.

My first diamond....hmmmm......I think I went down a mine in xbox version, never had played mc before. not even on pc, mined a lot of ores, got meh some DIAMONDS, started making my way bac kto the surface, next thing, ssssssssssss BOOM.

yeah, my story about my first diamond i found:
i found one but i broke the block with a stone pickaxe. and the ore was gone. i thought: ''why dont i get that diamond?''

I was in creative digging down to the void. I accidentally broke it, and it was (sadly) a one diamond vein. I then promptly placed another diamond in it's place, and built a new base around it. It was called Diamond Base. DUH. Sadly, the old harddisk that worldsave was on was knocked off a shelf by my idiot sister, and refuses to turn on.

I started a new world, got 2 wood blocks, then just dug stright down, until I hit bedrock. Searched for almost an hour when I found my first diamonds. I felt kinda excited! xD

Then I returned to the surface and tryed to make a house. I absolutly failed. xD

I spawned near a chasm. I jumped down and fourtunately landed on some water. Then, right beside me were 3 diamond ores. With another redstone ore beside it.
I was like:

1st diamond: Thought it was coal, so I mined it with a wooden pickaxe :3
2nd diamond: Didn't know it got destroyed over lava so I mined it without placing something under. Worst thing is that I jumped after it, in hope it just sank to the bottom.
3rd diamond: I actually managed to mine it, but when I got out of the mine a creeper blew me up.

4th diamond: This one were mined and saved! So I got really happy, though going around with flint and steel ain't the best reaction of happiness, especially not when you're close to the house you built for 3 hours, 5 mins and 32 secons.
