Unless you are on Mac/Linux then you are doing something wrong. What message do you get when you try ipconfig?

The reason i can port forward is when i go and type ipconfig it dosent show Ipv4

Right-click on you local area connection / wireless connection and go to properties.
Click on details.
Your ipv4 address should be there.
