Having trouble in the nether. The Ghasts seem to be able to snipe at me from behind the fog/ chunk distance and still do 8 hearts of damage to me. How do I get closer to them??

^ thanks it would be nice if I could see them or acutally know how to follow their sounds. Cobble grinding is the most annoying thing. i need their tears for regen pots.

Well Ghasts have a follow range of 100 blocks, and have very good aim. Your best bet is to shelter under some cobble, as Ghast fireballs don't break it. As for getting closer, stay alert, as Ghast noises travel extremely far, so dodging the fireballs shouldn't be too hard if you listen. Ghasts are VERY annoying to try killing, and a bow is your best bet for killing one. You can hit the fireballs back, but its hard to aim that up.
