Does anyone know a GOOD screen recording program. For minecraft obviously. More specifically I need to record cinematics for my builds, and now dont tell me Fraps because that lowers frame right like craaazy. Not camtasia either ugh. I usually run about 120 frames if that helps anyone. Any feedback it greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah and fraps. Fraps take away like 3 fps, it does not take away a lot of it. If you fraps takes away it's either.
1. Your ram
2. CPU
3. Proccesor
Cause I don't know why it would take away like 10 fps.

If fraps lowers your FPS then you dont have a very good pc.
but CamStudio with a license is good

If you wanna use it for schematics get CamStudio. You can set up points and even set it to a 3rd person so you can build and record. Barley lowers frame rate and records the fly by as well. Not good for non speed builds.

Im guessing windows, so I reccomend a program called Debut Video Capture. Its pretty good and doesn't lower frame rate too much. I use mac, and mac comes with one and gets really good FPS. This is video quality coming from a mac:

Wow!! Thanks so much, I just downloaded it and recorded a couple of clips and it records really smooth and doesn't take out any quality. I gotta get used to the program but other than that thanks man! I really appreciate it!
