Have some ideas for deadly traps?

I am looking for some fresh ideas for lethal traps to adorn my labyrinth with.
Preferably traps that can reset themselves.
Redstone contraptions or ideas that can be skripted are ideal.
Any suggestions?

Hide a bunch of dispensers behind a wall of lava that shoot arrows when a tripwire is stepped on

I like it. Will have to find a way to make arrows disappear though or they will just use it to harvest free arrows lol

What about a pit that opens up and sends you plummeting towards cobwebs above lava? Very simply, and discreetly possible with just redstone.
You could also have one that causes sand to fall and suffocate you, although that wouldn't reset so well.
Another option is a gauntlet that fires arrows and splash potions of instant damage. That could be a good one for scaring people

If you step on a pressure plate, the passage behind you closes for 1 minute

How about door closes and fills with water? :D Slow, painful death.
