i have heard tails of herobrine. but as awesome as it sounds it dose not sound true i think it is very much true!!!

You see, Sed is the only wise person I see here. There is so much information and facts against Herobrine there is no possible way he is in fact true.
Every time Notch put "Removed Herobrine" was removing pieces of the "human" mob (A zombie-like monster that looked like a human, but never spawned). The "Removed all ghost entities under the command of lord Herobrine" was removing the very last "ghost entities" of the monster mob. (You could get "Monster" spawn eggs that spawned nothing, and create "monster" spawners which puffed nothing into existence.
Herobrine was a creepypasta made by someone as a joke. Someone else found it and made it a big deal. Both of these people have admitted it to be false, along with everyone in Mojang. Their "trolling" in the update logs made me lose much respect for them and their immature efforts. I don't think it's funny at all and caused much strife among the informed members of the Minecraft community such as myself.

In the beta 1.7.3 and 1.2 changelog it says Removed Herobrine.

Idk.... I doubt Notch would spend months programming Herobrine just to take him out of the game... so hew is probably not ingame
