Just found out that holding F1 makes the HUD and your arm, plus the darkened outline around the screen disappear while it is held so that screenshots are amazing. Wanted to share this impossibly good info with everyone.

i got a screen recording program a while ago, but it lags my computer like hell, does anyone know of a good program that doesn't make you your compy lag?

This is very helpful however.. the new macintosh computers do not allow you to do this although you can use f5 to go to 3rd person mode

IKR!? Sucks. I tried the setting "Return F keys to original commands or something but only F2 works after that. :/

To be fair, I renamed the forum to beta. It was simply Minecraft : The Game before but it was basically empty. Site is a little over 1 month old now.
