Honest question: Would yβall give a shot to a minigames server running on Minecraft Beta 1.7.3? πΈπΉοΈ | π Όπ Έπ ½π ΄π ²ππ °π ΅π
So like... around 7 months ago, I started this lil’ dream project of mine, building a minigames-only server totally from scratch.
Since CraftBukkit for Beta 1.7.3 is super limited, I had to literally fine-tune every little feature so the minigames could actually work.
I just gotta polish the spawn protection, anti-bot stuff, and finish a few more minigames that’ll be ready after the server goes live.
Sooo...
Would you guys give it a chance and have some fun on a minigames-only server?
Let me know!!

I love beta 1.7.3, that's a very cool idea. Just gotta make sure to get a lot of people playing or it's not gonna be fun.

If it was on a modern version, sure.
No clue why I'd kneecap myself to a beta version

Looks fun!

Attempting to make a server on such an ancient version is insane. I will probably check it out to see how you managed to do it, but probably not going to stay after the first visit

This server is a place for people who play on old versions of the game. There’s a Reddit community called r/goldenAgeMinecraft that’s all about bringing back the golden days of Minecraft. Right now there are a bunch of servers for Alpha 1.2.6 and Beta 1.7.3 with active players there. This project isn’t for profit, it’s just for fun, but thanks for the feedback!
