How did you learn about minecraft?

As the title says I wanna know how you got to play minecraft. For me it was that all my friends were playing it and I started to look up videos on youtube about it, and Thought it was dumb. The week after I played it at a friends house and insantly fell in love with it.

i love legos and building just about anything. so when my friend told me about this amazing games where you could build anything you wanted, i was thrilled. i bought the game the next day and i have been playing with an almost crazy obsession ever since. and now i think i am addicted. i really need help

About 6 months before 1.0 one person got it, so the rest of us copied. I remember thinking we thourght were such MLG-PRO`s because it was a fulll screen game.

it was 6th grade, i was a heavy pc gamer at the time, i met a new friend (his username is xerokashay) who was really into science like i was. eventually he let me sit at his friends table, and i saw PC screans full of minecraft. he told me about the game and i was thrilled, since i also loved legos (mainly Bionicle) it was like the ebst game ever, i begged my dad to get it and when he finaly let me it was the msot fun EVER. i got it back in 1.2.5 so it had alot fo classic easy fun stuff.

My 19 year old friend named Alex, was playing it on his computer. He told me it was fun, he had a light saber mod and I thought it was apart of the game. So I spent at least 2 months trying to find out how to make one, then he finally told me it was a mod. Anyways that's how I came to minecraft. I use his account since the worlds, servers, mods, and texture packs are different on each computer.

I heard from minecraft when it was in alpha. I played it a bit but don´t liked it much (in alpha!). 2 Years later a friend wanted to show me "a awsome game in could never dream of". Minecraft. With all the added things and all the possibilities that it had then I loved it. Since then i keep playing it

I heard it from school. Then i downloaded Pocket edition lite I hated it and deleted it. A few months later i watched found tobuscus and i saw a vid of him playing minecraft. So i downloaded PE lite again and this time i liked it. SO I BOUGHT THE GAME

I new about the game then I just learned myself. I played solo learned the basics (oh I loved being a noob) then I just devolved into learning all the basics and tips.
