Hello all. This seems like a really nice site and have joined up and trying out a thing or two here but I seem to be having a bit of an issue. Maybe what I am trying is a bit out of the norm, I am not really sure.
I found a house that I really like and downloaded the file but I am wanting to build it on a server not on my own world. How can I achieve this ?

If you haven't got MCEdit, maybe record yourself building it on the same world, and then play the recording while on your server world and follow the recording like a tutorial?

If the file you want to download is a world file you can simply upload it to the server and then import it using "Multiverse"
If the file you want to download is a schematic file you can place it in the schematic folder inside your worldedit folder and then import it by using //schem load [name]

yes, but you can use WorldEdit to add it. MCEdit is to get a schematic off of singleplayer.

unfortunately im not sure how to help you here ive tried the same thing many times but was unsuccessful if i find a way ill be sure to let you know

Have you tried using MCEdit and saving it as a schematic, and then using the Schematica mod to view it to build? or if possible import the schematic onto the server? That should work.
