Minecraft is laggy because you changed the setting's however you can change the setting's to your favour, meaning you can make it better, and not laggy.

Post a DxDiag log and/or a screenshot with the F3 debug screen enabled.

The laggiest game I've ever played in my life.

My PC runs Minecraft with no problems. I have never had any lag (This includes servers). My PC is only two years old so that my play a part.

If you want to play Minecraft 1.14.3 with less lag and more FPS, then get Optifine for 1.14.3 from here. And then change the settings in a normal world in creative. I have my render distance at 12 chunks, as I can see, and it only lags when it's loading the chunks a lot at once. Turn some settings on and some off and disable VSync. Make sure your max FPS is infinite. Hope this helped. :)

The more recent versions of the game have been pretty unstable framerate wise. Try 1.12.2 or below if you want better frames.

im playing version 1.7.2 : 3

and yes even with optifine

mine runs on an "alsmost" empty pc and it still KINDA lags

bruh note that minecraft isnt just a simple game

Just lower your render distance that should increase your FPS.
Installing optifine will also greatly increase your FPS.
