Is my name OG?
My Minecraft username is Toadsworth, that one Nintendo character? Anybody even know him? I'm very confused about the "OG Usernames" concept. I'll put the link to his Mario Wikipedia page at the bottom of this thread.
Toadsworth - Super Mario Wiki, the Mario encyclopedia
I will be very thankful if anybody has an answer to my question.

Yes

Honestly, I’d say yes, your name definitely gives off an OG vibe.
So wear it proudly—Toadsworth is cooler than half the auto-generated usernames out there 😂
- No numbers ✅
- No special characters ✅
- Recognizable pop culture reference ✅
- Clean and memorable ✅

You don't use numbers or any special symbols, so the name is OG(not taken) and you also have a source/inspiration here - a game character

I think it's a lovely name, and if you like it that's all that should matter I think! Also I do know him, he's the princess's helper/assistant toad. (unless I'm thinking of a different one?)
I never really understood people's obsession(?) With usernames tho, like people will spend weeks/months/years trying to crack into accounts or wait for them to expire just so they can be called something like "92g7"
It is very confusing and crazy to me, and honestly I don't think anyone knows what an og name even is- everyone kind of just makes up their own rules with it all...
I asked people about it before and this one guy was super sure that ONLY 4 letter names or shorter were OG.
But then someone else told me it's like a readability thing, and that only names that are "clean" and only made of letters were OG...
And then someone else said the account name didn't actually matter and it was just when the account was created that matters and makes it OG....
It's just too confusing and so I stopped caring and just decided that nobody knows what it actually means...
