Hey guys!
I've recently planned on building a base in my survival world, surrounding an End Portal. I'm kind of stuck, however, because I don't know what light colored materials go good with spruce wood. The reason I want it with spruce is because I have a crazy amount of those from farming the 2x2 trees, and I don't want it all to go to waste. So back to the question, what materials (or pallet, if you will) goes good with spruce logs/planks?
I've got this going for me right now, and I don't think it looks too bad, but if you guys have any suggestions as for different materials, let me know!

Gray stained clay can go well with spruce logs.

I like using Spruce with Dark Oak and Brown, Black ang Grey Stained Clay (they're all actually brown, but different shades). Some oak can be a nice addition too, for the little details. Hope that helped!

I'll try something like that, thanks!

Bump. Ended up in the same situation on a new survival world, and would love some more feedback.

Eh. It kind of depends on what you're building. I find that Quartz goes good with Spruce wood, but it honestly depends. Any color of stained clay is usually good with spruce too.

I would suggest oak or birch planks. Depends on your build.
Sandstone is suprisingly good too.
