There are plenty sources of light in minecraft. Which source of light do you prefer the most? Would love to know how creative people can get with this.

I'm surprised at how many people like redstone lamps. Not very practical in survival, but they're great in creative.

torches because they are simple to make, easy to use and you can use them everywhere.

Depends on the build I'm doing. If it's medieval-themed, torches will do fine. But if I'm making a more modern build I go with beacons. They look especially good in Flow's HD Texture pack.

I like redstone lamps because they look fancy xD though expensive, they make a very modern and fancy light source.

No jack o' lanterns? I find them really cheap and useful to use in survival and they are easy to hide with carpets so you don't need to have torches everywhere.
