I've lost my house!!

Hi,
I'm relatively new to Minecraft and need some help.
Earlier today, my friend was helping me set up some redstone circuits, when he then said that my house had disappeared! I was using super-flat mode, so I assumed that he just accidentally fell off the world. But he said that it had randomly de-spawned!
I was wondering if there was any way to find my house again.

No. If you die in creative mode the map will reload without all the stuff youve build...

Randomly despawned?
I bet he killed the house with fire, laser beams, and polar bears. Then danced on the ashes like MJ.
