What does everybody think about the new terracotta blocks? I'm indifferent to it, I neither care nor hate these blocks.

But for some reason I don't find clay nearly as much as I do with sand or dirt, I don't know if it's because I'm doing something wrong but I did try looking under water in the local rivers in the area me and a friend were in on our survival world and there was only sand.

And because of this, I tend to use stone bricks or cobblestone as a building material more than anything else, with fences for the lamp posts and animal pens.
